GREEN FUND
We introduced the Green Fund four years ago, into which we set aside money every year. We are, therefore, able to finance new investments and projects aimed at strengthening our sustainability work. The allocated funds are used for environmental investments, focusing primarily on measures and projects that reduces Seco’s carbon emissions and negative environmental impact.
IIn 2018, 3.5 MSEK was dedicated to the Green Fund.
SOLAR PANELS IN THE UK
Installed on the roof of Seco's newly refurbished manufacturing plant, the solar panels generate 55 MWh of green energy per year.
SOLAR PANELS IN INDIA
- This is a green initiative and good support for increase carbon credit in global environment.
- The guaranteed solar power generation is 1446 units per day
- Saving of 1.7 MINR per year (0.21 MSEK per year)
- Reduction in CO2 emission by 540 tons per year which is equivalent to 250 trips per year from Europe to India.
